Well-being of our children
When a child wakes up wondering if their basic needs will be met, everything else falls to the background. Across Tamale and Accra, hundreds of children face daily physical hardships simply because the funds for essential care are not available. Basic necessities—such as a pair of shoes that fit, warm clothes for rainy seasons, or access to a doctor when fever strikes—are far too often treated as privileges rather than rights. Experiencing illness without care, walking barefoot on rough terrain, or wearing torn clothes damages more than just a child's health; it erodes their confidence and sense of worth.
Our Support & Well-Being pillar exists to ensure that none of our 322 children ever feel forgotten or overlooked. We step in directly to secure complete medical coverage, routine health checkups, emergency care, and essential prescription treatments. Beyond healthcare, we ensure every child is equipped with clean, comfortable clothing, sturdy footwear for school and play, and complete monthly hygiene kits. By removing the constant weight of survival and replacing it with consistent, dignified care, we build a safe environment where our children can heal, feel cherished, and focus on simply being children.
