Education for Our Children

For many Ghanaian Children living in Tamale and Accra, schools often don’t have the funds to supply the resources needed for their children to succeed. Underfunding means many schools lack access to clean water, functional toilets, and proper classrooms. The result has been a student body learning from underpaid teachers, outdated textbooks, and broken equipment. It’s these conditions that perpetuate the cycle of illiteracy, poverty, and low life expectancy. Recognizing the impact of a proper education, we realized the importance of working with school leaders, publishers, and other educational providers to ensure students have access to the educational resources necessary for them to succeed. By funding these efforts, we can reduce child mortality rates and equip students with a fighting chance to break the cycle of poverty that has plagued Ghana for generations.
